Don't you just love it when your Friends and Family introduce you as a Lesbian, not just Crystal, not my Daughter, or my Friend but She's a Lesbian. Not my "trade", interests, or other identifying factor but The Lesbian... hmm..rIt is funny Cuz when I introduce my dad, say.. I don't say for example, the Asshole, I Usually give his name and the Dad thing.. though everyone knows he is an asshole.
So many Lesbians email me with this same gripe, we seem to simply be Lesbians.
