2008 Lesbian Fiction Award was given to lesbian author Jennifer L. Jordan, for excellence in lesbian stories and lesbian fiction. The Alice B award, an honor that recognizes lesbian writers for their contribution to "lesbian fiction and the lesbian community, lesbian culture, and lesbian identity" was presented to Jennifer L. Jordan in January 2008. Avid lesbian readers, the Alice B ladies love lesbian fiction and bestow the award to thank "all-time, all-star" lesbian writers.
