A lesbian in the cabinet?

Mary Beth Maxwell is said to be joining the cabinet of the nation’s first African American president.She is a Lesbian Woman, Community Organizer and Labor Leader with an adopted African American son. Mary is the founding executive director of American Rights at Work is about to get the full-court press.

Mary May be our Next Labor Secretary. Mary Beth Maxwell is the founding Executive Director of American Rights at Work, a national advocacy organization launched in 2003.

There seems to be some controversy online as to whether She would Be Better at this position than the Previously HRC Endorsed Linda Sanchez.

Maxwell may lose out to Candidates that have more Star Power as they Say, such as Jennifer Granholf or Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius.

we Will See How this all Plays Out, hopefully the most qualified person is in that position regardless of surrounding issues.
